We are a full service independent insurance agency incorporated in 1978 to specialize in governmental property and casualty insurance programs and employee benefits.  Since our founding we have branched out into personal lines, so we offer a full array of auto, home, life, health disability and retirement products.

Mascarenas Enterprises was founded by Ernest Mascarenas who entered the insurance business right after World War II.  By 1960, Ernest was a General Agent specializing in life and health insurance.  He established Mascarenas Enterprises as a multi-line independent agency and became a pioneer of benefit programs such as Deferred Compensation and "Cafeteria" Plans.  Mr. Mascarenas remains active in the agency to this day.

David Mascarenas assumed management of the agency's commercial property & casualty and group insurance lines in 1990.  David is a member of the Registered Financial Planners' Institute specializing in all aspects of retirement and estate planning.  Ernie's son David currently owns and operates Mascarenas Enterprises, Inc.
